Introduction
e-flow is a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform and can be accessed using any modern web browser.
If you/your organisation are Single Sign-On enabled, these instructions will not apply (please refer to our guide on SSO). However, the session timeout settings are the same for both SSO and non-SSO users.
Step-by-step
Note: if you don't receive this email after a few minutes, please check your spam and junk folder. Failing this, ask your internal IT team to see if emails are blocked from no-reply@e-flow.com.
2. Open your internet browser and navigate to e-flow: https://www.e-flow.app/
3. Enter your username or email address and click 'Next'.
Click back if you need to re-enter your username.
4. Enter your password (case-sensitive) and click 'Log In'.
Ticking 'Keep me logged in' will stop you from needing to enter your password until your machine is restarted.
5. Should you have forgotten your password or need to reset your password for any other reason:
Click the 'I don't know my password' link and follow the instructions provided to create a new password.

Session timeout - sliding expiration
Your session lasts for 1 hour.
If you stay active, a new session cookie is automatically issued when less than 30 minutes remain. This applies to both SSO and non-SSO users, ensuring your session continues seamlessly while you’re using the system. However, if you’re inactive for a full hour, your session will expire, and you’ll need to log in again.
Session Expiry - 5 Minutes
We have introduced a warning prior to the active session being abandoned. This warning will display 5 minutes before the session is going to expire and gives the user an opportunity to refresh the session, allowing them to keep signed into e-flow.
Following the 5-minute warning, the notification will update to an expiry warning. Pressing OK will return the user to the login page.
