Introduction
Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication scheme that allows a user to log in with a single ID and password to any of several related, yet independent, software systems. Users' credentials are set up by the company IT team for logging into their internal systems, which enables users to log in once and access services without re-entering authentication factors.
Examples of SSO would be OKTA and Azure AD.
How do I reset my password?
SSO users will not receive a welcome email when their account has been created and cannot reset their password from e-flow.
If you need to change your password, you should raise a request to the IT team which manages the SSO authentication: this may be your organisation or an organisation you are working for. In the latter case, you should have a team member who is able to contact the retailer's support on your behalf, if unable to yourself.
SSO and Electronic Signature in e-flow
SSO users can bypass the electronic signature required in certain areas of the system, for example, pause, restart or rename an activity.
This gives our users more flexibility around the security level required by their organisation. If this feature is on, you will no longer be asked to re-authenticate yourself when performing these system actions.
Note: If you would like to switch on this feature for your organisation, please contact our Professional Services team.
