LP2: Online Approval Tool - User Preferences- Proofscope

Introduction:

User Preferences allow you to customise the viewer settings based on your needs, including language, annotation appearance, and measurement options. It also allows you to update the following elements.

Localization: Allows the user to update their preferred language.

General:

  • Notes Color: Change the colour of your annotations.
  • Small-Measure Tool Size: Sets the default size of the small-measure tool (its size can still be changed while the tool is selected).

Units: Allows the user to define their preferred units and decimal settings.

Keyboard shortcuts and Selecting tools:

Users can create their own keyboard shortcuts for various tools in ProofScope. From the drop-down next to the tool, you can choose a modifier key from:


 

The following rules apply to setting a shortcut:

  • The secondary key is limited to A-Z characters.
  • Existing browser shortcuts cannot be mapped to ProofScope, e.g., Ctrl + N (opens a new window) and Ctrl + W (closes the tab).
     

 

(Note: when you update your preferences, the session you're working in will refresh to save your preferences.)
