NEW! File Release Task
As part of our ongoing efforts to systemise the whole life cycle of the artwork process, we have created a new task type that will facilitate the release of e-flow assets as part of your custom workflows. The file release task can be configured to release any e-flow asset that is uploaded to an e-flow activity.
Within the task page, a user will be presented with brief instructions that are set via the tasks' configuration settings. The asset to be released will be also be displayed.
The user will be asked to select or enter the recipients that the file is to be released to. The recipients are split into two groups;
- Internal Recipients
- Any recipients that have an e-flow account
- External Recipients
- Any recipients that don't have an e-flow account
- This will be an email address
- Any recipients that don't have an e-flow account
The task can be configured to have default recipients, these will automatically populate within the task when accessed. These default recipients can be removed by the user if required - the ability to remove a default recipient is controlled via the task configuration.
The user has to opportunity to add any supporting comments about the release of the file when completing the task, and they will be asked to confirm their password in order to authorise the release of the File.
When the task is completed, each selected recipient will receive an email with a link to securely download the asset.
Within the email, the recipient will be presented with information about the asset that has been released, along with a link to download. In order to download the File, the PIN provided in the release email must be entered.
Any activity in which a file release task has been completed, will display a new 'File Release' tab.
Within this tab, a user is able to audit the full details of the File Release task, including all of the recipients and the details of the user who authorised release of the asset.
Notification Hub UI Updates
