While viewing reports in e-flow, any datetime data will be displayed in the format preferred by your browser. For example, if reports are showing dates in mm/dd/yyyy where you wish to see dd/mm/yyyy, follow the below instructions to change your browser's language settings.
This guide covers Chrome, Edge and Firefox browser.
In the example below, the report is currently showing dates in 'English (US)' and this will be changed to 'English (UK)'.
English (US) Before: English (UK) After:
Chrome and Edge:
1. Open your browser settings via the three-dots icon in the top right corner of your window, then select 'Settings'.
2. Select 'Languages' from the left-hand menu.
3. In the 'Preferred languages' box, you can see which languages are already loaded into your browser.
Clicking on the three-dots icon will bring up a small modal where you can select that as your new preferred UI language.
Chrome
4. Select 'Display Google Chrome in this language'.
5. To finalise this decision, click the new 'Relaunch' button to re-open your browser session with the selected change.
(Note: your browser will re-open with all your previous tabs in tact).
Edge
4. Select 'Display Microsoft Edge in this language'.
(Note: you can also select 'Move to the top' as the topmost language will be automatically selected as the default display.)
5. If you go back to the report you were viewing in e-flow, you will see that the datetime format is now displaying differently.
Firefox:
1. Open your browser settings via the three-dots icon in the top right corner of your window, then select 'Settings'.
2. 'General' should open up by default. Scroll down to where you can configure Language settings to configure your browser's language preference.
3. Select your preferred language from the drop-down menu.
4. Check the box underneath to select the option reading: "Use your operating system settings for '[your language]' to format dates, times, numbers, and measurements."
5. If you go back to the report you were viewing in e-flow, you will see that the datetime format is now displaying differently.
