Introduction
This article explains how to use the Transfer Tasks functionality within e-flow to reassign tasks between users within your Supplier Domain (Organisation).
Relax Screen
If you are seeing the above ‘Relax’ screen, it means there are currently no active tasks assigned to your user profile, however, this does not necessarily mean that there are no outstanding tasks within your organization. All users with an e-flow account within an organization are responsible for ensuring that any tasks related to the H2R project for Walmart are completed on behalf of that organization.
The Transfer Tasks function gives users the ability to transfer the responsibility of completing a task or multiple tasks from one user to another user within your Supplier Domain (Organization)
Transfer Multiple Active (Running) Tasks:
From the Navigation Bar, click Tasks. This opens the Task page.
Click Transfer Tasks in the top-right of the screen.
As you have the Admin role, you should be able to select any person within your team in the Transfer Tasks from option. If you would like to transfer your own tasks to your team member, leave Transfer Tasks from as your name.
Alternatively, if you wish to transfer tasks that are currently assigned to someone else in your team, select that person's name in Transfer Tasks from.
In Transfer tasks to, select the user who should receive the tasks. This can be your own name if you want the tasks transferred to yourself, or another member of your team if you are reassigning the tasks to them.
Now select the user to which the task needs to be reassigned and include a message to the recipient if necessary.
Click the Preview button to view the tasks that are available to transfer.
Use the checkboxes to select the tasks you wish to transfer.
To go back and edit the criteria, click the Edit Parameters button and change the user(s) involved.)
Click the Transfer button.
Click 'Transfer Tasks' on the warning displayed to continue.
Note: this action cannot be undone!
The new assignee will see the reassigned tasks appear in their task list.
An e-mail is sent for each task transferred to the previous and new assignees. The e-mail contains a link to complete the task.
Transferring a Single Task (When the task is assigned to you):
From the Tasks page, on the task that you wish to transfer, select the down arrow on the required task next to the activity name as shown here, and then select Transfer Task.
On the pop-up that appears you can select the name of the person or the role you wish to transfer the task to and write a message if required.
Select 'Transfer Task'. The Task will then be on the task page of the selected user.
