December 2015 R1

This new release provides you with the following exciting new features:

Create a Product or Item File From Your Workflow
Do you need to easily see all activity associated with your product, right from initial ideation to launch and beyond through cycles of repackaging and redevelopment?

Starting with Sunrise December 2015, we will bring full management of your Product Lifecycle to life.

When you create a new piece of activity, our workflow engine now allows you to either link to an existing 'Item' or 'Product' record or create a new one entirely from scratch.

Once an association between activity and your products is established, it become possible to quickly see all changes made to your products throughout their entire lifetime, and all from a single screen!

Improved Access to Workflow Summary
Navigation has been improved to allow users direct access to the workflow summary from My Tasks, any Work Item and the Online Approval Tool.

Workflow administrators can also selectively allow 3^rd party contacts access to workflow, providing full visibility of the project timeline.

Unrestricted Asset Uploads
We have made a number of enhancements to the Asset Upload work item to allow greater flexibility for your business process.

If you don't know how many design concepts will be required; or how many pieces of photography, you'll need - our asset upload work item now permits users to upload as many files as necessary. Need to explicitly restrict the amount and type of files to be uploaded - that still works too!

In addition, users can simply drag and drop files as a group directly into Sunrise, making file uploads quick, simple and painless.

Our new file type classification feature allows you attach additional attributes to the file, which identify what it's for and make it quicker to search for in the future.

Update Current Work Item
It is now possible to update the assignee, duration or dependencies of a work item which is currently in progress.

Allow "Approve With Changes" verdict
We understand that you may require the freedom of different approval verdicts for different file types; or just allow different approvers to do different things.

You are now able to selectively decide if contacts in an approval step are able to select the option "Approve with Changes" when reviewing an asset.

Warning When Selecting "Not Approved" without comments
Approvers are now prompted to enter comments when selecting a 'Not Approved' verdict on an approval.

Categorise Annotations
Do you need to quickly understand what or who is driving amendments to your assets?

Following an asset approval, it is now possible to classify your approvers annotations and comments, then report on the reoccurring reasons why changes are being requested.

What's more, we allow you to create as many annotation classification glossaries as you need, to provide clear visibility of why asset amendments occur.

Save Forms As Draft
Start a form input task without needing to complete it. With Sunrise December 2015, you can now save your forms as draft and come back to them at a later date.

Workflow Template Visibility
We have improved workflow template visibility to allow great control of what activity your users can create.

It is now possible to selectively choose which workflow templates your users can see from the New Workflow Builder screen and which templates are available for selected organisations to connect to via the Branch Workflow Tool.
