Any asset that has been uploaded as a revision of a previous asset can be compared against any of its previous versions or any other assets from a library.
While reviewing an asset in the Online Approval Tool, click the Summary drop down list and click Compare.
Once the user has created the compare session, it will load in the approval tool. The image below shows the asset in the approval tool.
This represents the first artwork selected in version A:
If you click on the button above it shows the ‘Delta’ (differences) between the two artworks in red. Please see the image below:
If you click on the button above it will show you the second artwork (B) which you are comparing against. Please see the image below:
If you click on the image above it will show you the difference between both artworks. The approval tool will toggle through artwork A and B.
The button above will show side-by-side, the differences with the artworks. The image below shows the two artworks side-by-side.
Palettes: Differences
In Compare view, both PDF files A and B can be panned and zoomed independently for easier side‑by‑side review.
To enable this feature, initiate a compare session in the approval tool. Once it has loaded, a new control panel called ‘Differences’ will be available.

To enable independent Zoom, unselect 'Synchronize Views',
The view will automatically display as a split screen, and you will be able to use the zoom/pan features independently in each asset:
In addition, you can switch to a vertical layout and switch the A&B files using this control.
