The purpose of this guide is to explain the use of the activity GANTT chart.
The GANTT Chart is used to look at a comparison of the current project timeline against that of the

The table on the left displays these elements:
Name – This shows the task names. Tasks are order by start date.
Planned Finish – This shows the current planned finish date per task.
Finish – This shows either the current projected finish date, or the actual finish date for
The user may adjust timings by double-clicking on the Finish date column for any task which is not
completed. This will load a modal window that allows both the time and date to be reset.
(Note: this will not work on approval task headers as this represents the current cycle rather than an individual task).
The length of a bar represents the start, duration and end of a task. Bars that run parallel show tasks that run simultaneously, otherwise, bars are stacked to show the order in which tasks are to be completed.
The dark blue bar at the top with the Activity name represents the Actual/Projected duration of the Activity.
The light orange bars underneath every bar represent the Planned duration for the whole project and each task based on when the Activity was kicked-off. These are unchangeable and won't adjust for deviated or changed start/finish times.
The light blue bars represent each individual activity. These will adjust if you change the Finish data in the left-hand table, or can be clicked and dragged from the far-right handle at the end of the bar.
To commit any changes, press 'Save Changes' in the top-right corner of the display.
Information about the earliness or lateness of a task relative to the orange bars is displayed to the right of each bar. The image below demonstrates how dynamically editing the expected duration of the last task (in this example, this is 'Step 2') affects the Activity bar at the top.
